MONSTER CHANGES
FEBRUARY â–¸ MONTH ONE
First experience of potential feral mind, but no permanent changes.
MARCH â–¸ MONTH TWO
  • Light/dark brown fur growth on arms, shoulders, and back. Full moon will bring about the growth to fuller, woolier length.
  • Development of ability to predict possible danger. Wildly inaccurate and simply carrying around A Bad Feeling.
  • Exaggerated startle response results in freezing.
  • APRIL â–¸ MONTH THREE
  • Fur growth on legs similar in color to previously grown fur. Will not become wooly.
  • Urges to hide things from others, but especially if she feels slighted. 50/50 chance she might remember where she put it.
  • Begins developing shapeshifting abilities. Limited to minor features (i.e. copying only a few facial features) and requires close proximity.
  • Full moon will result in tail...that's probably a little difficult to find under all the fur. But it's there!
  • MAY â–¸ MONTH FOUR
  • Increased speed.
  • Development of longer incisors. Full moon will begin their continual growth and urges to chew to shorten them.
  • Further development of shapeshifting abilities. Able to adopt major features, but still requires close proximity to target.
  • Able to sense danger more accurately rather than constant state of Something Bad Is Gonna Happen.
  • Exaggerated startle response may result in fleeing in addition to previous freeze response.
  • Full moon will result in digitrade legs and rabbit ears (shorter in length for a rabbit).
  • JUNE â–¸ MONTH FIVE
  • Weakness to iron results in burns that heal slower.
  • Claws on hands and experiencing urges to burrow/dig.
  • Better control over urges to pinch and hide things from others. Will actually remember exactly where she put it though.
  • Further shapeshifting development in the form of vocal mimicry.
  • Strong preference to be with others rather than alone.
  • Will shrink by approximately two inches on the full moon.
  • JULY â–¸ MONTH SIX
  • Claws on feet develop.
  • Able to perfectly impersonate others, but still requires close proximity to hold it for any significant length of time.
  • Able to help locate missing items with improved accuracy even if she didn't take them.
  • Will be difficult to wrangle during the full moon as she will be 100% thrill-seeking worse than usual. This will become more tempered outside of the full moons, but still more than usual.
  • AUGUST â–¸ MONTH SEVEN
  • Complete development of ability to impersonate others with decreased need for such close proximity to her target.
  • Similar to the Jersey Wooly Rabbit, she loves a dingdang cuddle. May have the urge to crawl on people or go looking for hugs.
  • Underground becomes a place of security for her. Will spend the full moon creating herself a burrow.
  • SEPTEMBER â–¸ MONTH EIGHT
  • Eye color changes to increasingly orange color.
  • If she offers her word, will be compelled to keep it regardless of the cost.
  • Will be a pain in the ass during this full moon as she will be playing endless pranks on others. Some of the tricks may be a little mean-spirited if she's got a bone to pick with her target(s). ...The pettiness might not go away so much after the full moon, but she'll chill on playing constant tricks.
  • OCTOBER â–¸ MONTH NINE
  • Eye color changes to golden color.
  • Responsive to the Puca's Share. Will vary on what counts, but food is always the best bribe to get her to agree to do something more so than normal.
  • During this full moon, her faeform results in fur over other parts of her body, sharper claws, and increased need to play tricks with a crueler bent as part of a more feral mindset.

    Player Information
    Name: Crystal
    Age: 29
Contact: [plurk.com profile] rebreather or pm
    Other Characters: Ozymandias

    Character Information
    Name: Atsuko Kagari aka Akko
    Canon: Little Witch Academia
    Canon Point: post-series
    Age: 16
History: From her profile on the wiki as well as the series and episode list/summary.

    Personality:
Akko is the sort of person that is difficult to miss. She is willing to attempt friendship with just about anyone except maybe people who go out of their way to be a jerk, and even then? She will be the first person to set aside whatever long-standing grudge or rivalry might be there, clean the slate, and start fresh with friendship. This is likely because she tends to see the good in everyone even if it requires a little bit of work to identify or remember in the moment. But because she is so quick to identify the positives and strengths in other people, Akko is often an incredibly supportive friend. She is always there to hype people up and does whatever she can to help them reach their goals.

The trouble is that sometimes in Akko's attempts to be helpful, she's a little thoughtless. Akko isn't the type of person to intentionally act in self-interest, but sometimes her actions have that as a consequence. And because she is not thinking about consequences, it usually needs to be pointed out to Akko the effect her actions are having on the people around her. It's at that point Akko tends to prove that she's actually a good friend with good intentions and just a bit of an airhead as she is quick to not make excuses, apologize, and course correct to the best of her ability.

It's this lack of observing consequences though that also tends to lead Akko to not think her actions through much at all. Akko is extremely reckless and extremely impulsive, and this lands her square in trouble's and/or danger's crosshairs. But because this tends to happen so often, Akko is actually quite a quick thinker. She tends to come up with clever solutions to problems that others don't always see because they are typically approaching things from a more methodical and/or pragmatic perspective than Akko.

Lastly, it would be remiss to talk about Akko and not talk about her dreams and her relationship with Chariot. Although at the beginning of the series, Akko wants desperately to be just like her idol, some of this is stemming from insecurities. While Akko's not the sort of person to be riddled with self-doubt, there is a degree to which she is secretly questioning her place at Luna Nova throughout the majority of the series. Given her difficulties with mastering magic and how quick some of the other students (and some of the professors) are to point out her laziness and frequent mistakes, it's understandable that Akko falters from time to time.

When Akko learns the truth of what Chariot did, it devastates her. To Akko, magic was always something fantastical, something capable of bringing people together and inspiring the good that lives within them. That it not only caused harm by was perpetrated by the witch she spent most of her life looking up to was a devastating blow to her and it only cements her belief that she was never meant to be anything more than what she feels like she already is.

But through the power of friendship, Akko comes to realize that even though Chariot did something terrible with her magic, her message was still true. It was something that Akko firmly believed in no matter what. This allows her to do as she always has: not give up and believe in the magic that's inside her heart. Even if the odds are stacked against her and her friends, Akko will always believe in the magic that lives inside them and all the good that it can do.
    Abilities & Skills:
Magic: Despite coming from a mundane background, Atsuko does have the potential to be a talented witch! Her competency is still, however, questionable due to a combination of her own difficulties in sticking with studying (and not seeking out shortcuts) and the Dream Fuel Spirit draining a large portion of her magical capabilities. By the series' end, she seems to have a better grasp on metamorphosis magic, particularly the most basic transformation spell, compared to other schools of magic, but her other abilities appear to be finally returning to her with the world being saved, magic being restored, etc. The ability to work hard via studying is still a little questionable though. For more information though, please see here
Fish Language: Atsuko knows how to communicate with fish. Don't worry about it. It's fine.
    Inventory/Companions:
  • School uniform (including robe and hat)
  • Wand
  • Binder of Chariot Cards
  • Choice: Puca
Reason: Atsuko is often at the center of trouble and she has an incredibly playful nature by default. And while overall she's a good gal who wants to do the right thing, when it comes to a friendly rivalry? She's not above some petty hijinx. Thus, the shapeshifting trickster Monster makes the most sense for her. Aside from that, Atsuko is going to be fairly devastated about not being able to do magic at all anymore, but Puca will give her a close approximation of some form of magic that she has the most talent and competency. It's not much, but it's something.
