Her ears twitch a little as she leans in a little closer.] You're captivating the attention of the masses here! You really gotta bring your best to this and make sure people are paying attention. And then you gotta make sure that while they're watching you, they're feeling good! They need to feel inspired!
[That's not exactly how inspiration from advertisement works, but Akko is a little stuck on the theatrics right now. As much as her perspective on things may have somewhat shifted and changed, there's really no making Akko let go of her dreams of performing.]
[Sypha blinks at this. She's...okay, Akko, you're really taking this seriously and Sypha is just a little bit surprised by how vociferous an argument this is.]

[Akko seems genuinely puzzled by Sypha's attempts to rein her in, so the assessment that it's going to be full steam ahead ultimately is a wise one. Akko immediately furrows her brow as she tries to think.]
Grade school kids put on plays all the time with whatever. I mean, if someone can make a first-grader into a tree with some cardboard, we can get creative, right?

[She isn't opposed to Sypha using magic to enhance the show, quite honestly, but most adults she runs into seem very set on following the rules always. Always.]
[Sypha frowns and picks up a small wooden block from inside her pack.]
We aren't putting on a play, anyway. So I think I'll just do what I was going to do in the first place. This block will amplify our voices when I finish enchanting it. No light show, though.
[Akko totally agrees with Sypha and nods at her assessment. Even while knowing that more theatrical uses of magic can lead to harm, she'd like to think the majority of people capable of magic wouldn't do something like that. She'd like to think better of the people around her.]
[But Aefenglom doesn't appear to share that sentiment for some stupid reason.]
[A warhorn isn't exactly the best frame of reference for Akko, but she's seen movies before! She can kinda guess at it. What Sypha suggests seems fair enough and probably difficult to prove that she used magic. Akko's also the last one to be a stick in the mud about that stuff. So, Sypha's reassurance gets an enthusiastic nod from Akko.]

[She can only assume that the rule was an overreaction to something and it's not like projecting voices a little further is all that dangerous. Nobody's eardrums are in danger of being blown out anyway!]

[Akko nods. She is possibly overestimating her development in that area of abilities, but what she can do and what she's able to do don't have to be the same thing, right?]

Okay, give me just a second to get it in my mind's eye, [she says pointing both of her index fingers at her temples and closing her eyes. Visualization was important for her to have any success at transforming. A concrete example was better, of course, but her imagination was pretty solid. She knew she could come up with something that reflected the words on the page.] Got it!
[Akko opens her eyes and grins.]

[With a puff of smoke, Akko changes shape. It's not perfectly what she had in mind, but when it comes to someone a little bit higher in class with first world problems, there's really no one she can possibly think of other than Diana. Granted, "Diana" still has rabbit ears, which Akko discovers by doing a check of the top of her head. Getting rid of Puca ears seems to be a stumbling block for her still.]
Stupid ears... [Akko frowns before putting a hat on, tucking them in.] Well?
[Akko clears her throat and alters her voice to something a little more befitting the visage she's adopted.]
[Sypha claps, happy for the girl. It's certainly different, and a very strange thing to behold. A teenage girl with, you know, rabbit ears.]
I think you've done a good job.
[And, you know what, she's just going to reach out and pat Akko's head before raising her hand and working through a spell of her own...just a localized invisibility spell to hide the ears.]
I just touched up the ears a bit. Nobody can see them.
What? [Akko blinks and then looks up like if she just tips her head up in that direction, she could possibly see the top of her head (and subsequently her ears) for herself that way.] Really?
