[One might think it would make more sense to plan a walk in the direction of a decided upon restaurant or cafe, but in typical Akko fashion there's very little thought put into it. In fact, she's already out the door of her apartment and on her way to Diana's as she sends that message.]
[Honestly? She's come to expect this behavior out of Akko. Her more spontaneous behavior is a sharp contrast to Diana's meticulous style. And that's fine.
She prefers it that way, especially now that they're Bonded.]

[Akko lets out a long hm, contemplating all of their potential options. The quality of food seems to vary a lot from place to place, especially depending on the price point, but she's not overly concerned with that.]
Well, it's almost lunchtime, so we should probably get something actually filling and not just junk food, right?
[That's probably the responsible decision, which Akko is semi-willing to compromise on with Diana, who is substantially less like to consider ice cream a suitable meal.]

Not that Diana is beyond wanting to explore, she just tends to not be quite as adventurous as Akko.] Well, I guess we should start off by eliminating the places you've already tried around here! So, where do you usually go out for food?
[Diana lists out the names of a couple of restaurants and what she tends to order from them. Frankly, the names all sound obviously high-class, refined, and even a little hard to pronounce, matching her upbringing and tastes. She hasn't ever really had a reason to stray away from what she already knows.

Sure, we can start there! [Akko, the fool, grins wide and totally unaware of just how ritzy Diana's tastes would still manage to run in a place like this.] If I know what any of them are like, I can see about the places I go to and make sure they're not too alike.
[It's probably a fair question to ask for Diana. Because after about one or two of the clearly fancier ones, Akko's eyes likely started to glaze over. She can't even look judgmental about it because she's too busy trying to figure out just what the heck they have on the menu (and trying not to break out into a cold sweat over the price). Akko shakes her head a little to dismiss the question.]
Don't you ever just get a burger and some fries back home?
[Akko isn't really surprised by the answer. Diana's privileged, sure, but she's also the sort of person who follows the rules to perfection. So, if she was never really given express permission to do something like that, it'd never cross her mind in a million years. Why get a burger when she can be stuffed into an uncomfortable dress and made to do polite conversation with important adults all while nibbling on arguably delicious but ultimately unfulfilling food.]
[Akko grabs Diana's hand and picks up the pace of their walk.]
Then I know the perfect place we can go! C'mon!
